1st Journey: Duang Prateep Foundation
We began with informative sessions where children were taught the critical importance of effective hygiene practices. In the interactive segment, each child received a hand sanitizer to decorate with stickers, fostering a sense of ownership and excitement. The children then drew representations of viruses and dirt on hand simulations, visually demonstrating how invisible contaminants can linger on our hands. By using their hand sanitizers to clean their drawings, the children saw firsthand how effective these products are in maintaining hand hygiene. This was followed by a practical demonstration on the correct practice of handwashing, so that the children learn both how to effectively clean their hands with soap and water, and the proper use of hand sanitizer as an alternative when necessary.
The second session emphasized dental care, with each child receiving a dental model and a toothbrush. Detailed instructions were provided on every step of proper tooth brushing, ensuring the children understood the importance of thorough dental hygiene.
At the end of the event, CleanCare donated food, milled rice, snacks, and toothpaste to the participating children to support their well-being and address some of the difficulties they face due to poverty.
