2nd Journey: Wat Thamma Sathit School

The event started with an ice-breaking game to help the children feel comfortable and connect with us. We then asked the students some basic questions to gauge their knowledge of hygienic practices. While all the kids understood the basics, they didn't know why cleanliness is important.

To make learning fun and creative, we gave the children hand sanitizers to decorate with stickers. This activity not only engaged them but also personalized their hygiene tools, making them more likely to use them regularly. Next, 10 children received two hand models each and were encouraged to draw representations of viruses, bacteria, or any contaminants they could think of. Using their decorated hand sanitizers, they cleaned the models, which demonstrated the sanitizers' effectiveness in eliminating germs from both the models and their own hands.

The second session focused on dental care. It began with an engaging cartoon that highlighted the importance of brushing teeth and how it prevents cavities and other dental issues. This visual and entertaining approach helped the children understand the significance of dental hygiene. Afterward, pairs of children were given unclean dental models and tasked with cleaning them as quickly and thoroughly as possible to earn points for their teams. This hands-on game taught the children proper brushing techniques and fostered a sense of teamwork and healthy competition.

To conclude the event, CleanCare donated face masks, cutlery sets, snacks, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to all the participating children. These items support their ongoing health and well-being, reinforcing the lessons they learned during the event and encouraging them to maintain good hygiene practices in their daily lives.
